Fin 2016, CartONG a été retenu par l'Agence des Micro-Projets (AMP) de La Guilde pour réaliser une étude sur les usages des nouvelles technologies dans le cadre de micro-projets de développement.
Invited by Magellium, CartONG organized on January 19th a mapathon, hosted by Airbus Defence & Space, which allowed to gather professionals of aerospatial technologies from Toulouse (France) and to put back on the map almost 13 000 refugees in 2 hours.
In June 2016, following a second bidding process, CartONG was one of the organizations (including iMMAP and MapAction) to be retained by the UNICEF West and Central Africa Regional Office, setting the framework to be deployed in the WCARO region to support UNICEF country operations in Information Management and Mapping.
A remote support hotline for all Tdh delegations has been operational since 2016 so that any staff can ask for remote support from CartONG on mobile data collection (encoding issues, choice of tools, validation of a form before deployment...).
