CartONG was deployed in September 2008 following the cyclones Hanna and Ike.

CartONG is supporting the Logistic cluster by producing field maps on the transport infrastructures following the UNSDI-T structure. In the mean time CartONG is developing procedure and workflow around the tool UNSDI.

The maps produced by CartONG, for the UNJLC are downloadable from the  map center hosted by the  Log Cluster web site.

It is possible to download a Haiti Dataset with shapefiles, also available on the peer-to peer section.

To convert the files you could use the toolbox ArcGIS by downloading these 2 scripts shp2Kml, Kml2shp. For the users that do not have ArcGIS they could use this tool http://www.zonums.com/shp2kml.html
