Through this&nbsp;partnership, we were able to&nbsp;bring more original contents to the agenda of the forum, by ensuring a larger dissemination of the Open Call for Suggestions and by building on the content of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/alternatives-humanitaires.org\/en\/eight-issue-march-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">issue n\u00b08 on the rise of new technologies in the humanitarian sector<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/alternatives-humanitaires.org\/en\/eleventh-issue-july-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">issue n\u00b011 which focuses more generally on the question of climate change<\/a>. We were&nbsp;also able to reach new actors to help increase the number, and diversify the type of organizations represented at the GeOnG. Lastly, this partnership&nbsp;was&nbsp;also an opportunity for CartONG to highlight the importance of the work that&nbsp;<em>Alternatives Humanitaires<\/em>&nbsp;do in support of aid actors.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternatives-humanitaires.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alternatives-humanitaires.org\/en\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Humanitarian Alternatives\/Alternatives Humanitaires<\/a>&nbsp;is a bilingual (French\/English) review devoted to humanitarian action. It was created with the view to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide a global perspective of the humanitarian sector and the development of its practices and become a forum for exchange through the subscription of its printed publications and free digital access to its website,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer an opportunity for researchers in the human sciences (sociology, history, economics, anthropology, etc.) and humanitarian practitioners to interact and share first-hand insights on the challenges facing the humanitarian sector,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote dialogue and interchange between researchers and practitioners working in these sectors in both the North and the South,&nbsp;Inform a broad international audience on the approaches to \u201cborderless\u201d humanitarian action being carried out through the pooling of resources, ideas, and initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In its issues published three times a year, Humanitarian Alternatives hosts original articles validated by an Editorial Board that operates independently from its financial partners. Each issue revolves around a specific theme called \u201cFocus\u201d and also includes some of the following sections: Perspectives, Ethics, Transitions, Innovations, Reportage, and Culture.
