{"id":3382,"date":"2025-05-06T17:09:46","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T15:09:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cartong.org\/en\/?p=3382"},"modified":"2025-05-13T16:05:41","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T14:05:41","slug":"cartong-h2h-network-strengthen-response-drc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cartong.org\/en\/2025\/05\/06\/cartong-h2h-network-strengthen-response-drc\/","title":{"rendered":"CartONG and the H2H Network strengthen the humanitarian response in the DRC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">As the humanitarian crisis continues in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, <strong>CartONG has mobilized alongside its partners in the H2H Network to strengthen the effectiveness and accountability of actions carried out on the ground<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This project is part of the collective response coordinated by the H2H Network, which, with support from the FCDO through the H2H Fund, is financing <strong>10 complementary initiatives with a total of \u20ac1.3 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together with <strong>CONAFODH, the national forum of Congolese NGOs<\/strong>, CartONG is co-developing <strong>a data-sharing platform <\/strong>designed to strengthen coordination between local organizations. This platform will allow CONAFODH member NGOs to share essential information, such as their areas of intervention and specific needs, while facilitating the identification of potential partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u201cThis platform will allow our organization, Waza And Act, to access up-to-date data on the humanitarian interventions of other actors in our area of operation, better plan our actions on the ground, identify potential partners, and avoid duplication. It will also increase the visibility of our organization, facilitate strategic decision-making, and improve the quality of our humanitarian response in return areas and beyond.\u201d<\/em><br><em><strong>Waza And Act<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, CartONG is transferring its expertise in web development and data management, and is setting up a training program on data quality and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u201cWe intervene directly and quickly to strengthen the resilience of women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence.
