In 2025, CartONG continued to support actors in the international solidarity sector, with a strong focus on a key challenge: strengthening the autonomy of local organizations through better data management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, CartONG supported the CONAFOHD network in developing KOLData<\/a>, a national platform that highlights and increases the visibility of local NGOs and their activities. In Burundi and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, a project carried out with Sidaction<\/strong> enabled local organizations to strengthen their skills in HIV data collection, analysis, and protection, helping them better manage their activities and enhance their autonomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The year was also marked by the continuation of CartONG\u2019s partnership with M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res (MSF)<\/strong>, through the development of several strategic tools, including the Location Notification App<\/strong>, MSF GeoHazards<\/strong>, and the Staff Health Unit GeoApp<\/strong>. These solutions leverage mapping and geospatial technologies to improve security, risk anticipation, and operational effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2025, CartONG also celebrated nearly 20 years of collaboration with UNHCR<\/strong>, a long-standing partnership that has contributed to numerous innovations in mapping, data collection, and data visualization in support of displaced populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In parallel, the organization continued to promote its needs assessment methodology<\/strong>, based on listening, co-creation, and design thinking. This approach helps organizations develop solutions that are tailored to their specific contexts and users\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
