CartONG is supporting AFD in their adoption of maps as decision-making tools for an "integrated territorial approach" in the Sahel three-frontier conflict zone (Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso). It includes reworking their data model and process for capturing information on the activities that they finance, as well as the production of maps; support on the data collection tools, and training of AFD teams on the templates produced.

This project aimed at supporting the operation in terms of data management, by analyzing their needs, determining recommendations, and helping them build the information management system needed by the operation. It is being conducted as part of the 3-year partnership agreement concluded between CartONG and Solidarités International.

This project aimed at supporting the humanitarian aid and international development sector in adapting its Information Management and Monitoring & Evaluation response to the Covid-19 crisis.

As part of this initiative, CartONG provided direct support to NGOs - hotline or coaching - addressing specific data-related requests at headquarters or in the field, as well as a more global support to the sector through the release of technical and methodological guidance (technical briefs, tutorials and tech watch findings) and feedback resources (case studies and lessons learned).

CartONG are supporting Asmae to implement a M&E system for its international operations. The aim of the project is to improve and strengthen Asmae's intervention strategy, to facilitate program management and to improve the visibility of Asmae's project achievements and results externally.

CartONG, in consortium with MapAction, has been selected by UNICEF for a long-term agreement, to provide GIS & IM support to their operations around the world from 2020 to 2022. Working with UNICEF’s headquarters, country offices and partners in different parts of the globe, we  focus on helping with geospatial data collection and management, mapping, knowledge management and capacity building.

CartONG provided a 2-day training on "Data protection in humanitarian assistance" to 13 member organizations of the German network of humanitarian and development organizations VENRO. Targetting humanitarian project and programme managers, the goals of the workshop were for the participants to:

CartONG conducted a 3-day GIS training to 12 members of operational departement of Secours Islamique France, in January 2020, which was funded by Le Group'.

The aim of this training was to make participants aware of the added value and challenges that mapping represents for an organization. In addition to the theoretical aspects, part of the training was dedicated to the handling of some tools such as uMap.
