Get-together CartONG and General Assembly 2013

19 volunteers from CartONG were gathered this week-end for a get-together. We had the chance to met the NGO GIS74, to work on volunteer's projects, to have our General Assembly 2013, and last but not least, spend a good time together!

We have met the Groupe d'Intervention et de Secours de Haute-Savoie (GIS74), a local NGO specialized in emergency rescue. CartONG will furnish them mapping support for their deployments, through a pool a volunteers.

Other volunteers have worked on a project of participatory mapping with native communities in the East of DRC: a website and first deliveries should be published soon in order to find fundings.

Finally, we have hold our General Assembly for 2013, with a renewal of the board and the launch of a quality process for our volunteer's projects.
