Closing Session: "What can we actually do as a sector?"
We are very pleased to welcome Pierre Gallien, Head of Innovation at Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion and member of the editorial board of Alternatives Humanitaires for the closing session of the 2022 GeOnG forum.
Pierre will co-facilitate the closing remarks with Maeve de France, IM Project Manager at CartONG, giving some insights as to what we have learned as a sector after three days of exploration and discussions on the topic, as well as sharing some recommendations to build into our information management systems an approach to further prevent and respond to the changes brought about by the climate crisis. The closing session of the forum will take place on Wednesday 26th of October from 4:45pm to 5:30pm CEST.

Don't miss out on the Fail Fest!
For the third consecutive time, we are hosting a fail fest during the GeOnG. While not all failures are good to share, we believe at CartONG that some should be highlighted and discussed so that humanitarian and development actors can benefit from such constructive feedback. It is indeed important for the notion of failure to be destigmatized in order to promote the spontaneous exchange of lessons learned within the sector. The fail fest will take place on Tuesday 25th of October, with speakers from HeiGIT, HOTOSM, and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre. Looking forward!
