GeOnG 2022

8th humanitarian and development data forum

24-26 October 2022 · In Chambery and online

What is the GeOnG?

Organized by CartONG every two years, the GeOnG forum gathers humanitarian and development actors and information management professionals to:

  • discuss the current and future stakes of the sector,
  • introduce relevant and innovative solutions,
  • and share experiences and best practices.

In 2022 : “Do no harm” in the era of environmental emergency

Across sectors of activities, we have been hearing for almost two decades now a recurring maxim: “data is the new oil”. How to best manage data has also become a central question in the aid sector, that has followed the trend of becoming data-driven.

The GeOnG forum 2022 took place at the Centre de Congrès Le Manège, in Chambéry (331 rue de la République, 73000 Chambéry). Remote participation was also possible.
